A Few Cards

I worked on a few cards the other day and I thought I would share them with you. These first two are mini cards, 3x3! The adorable little hedgehog is a stamp from Stampin' Up! that I really love. That whole set is adorable and I try to use them, but would like to use them more. I think I found the perfect place for these adorable stamps!!

This next card was made from scraps and a stamped image I forgot I had. It is from a set from Archiver's, but I didn't keep the box so I am not sure who made it. It came with this stamp, an enjoy stamp and two others. I haven't used them in a really long time because I wasn't fond of how tthe stamps looked on paper. However, I really like how it turned out after I did some trimming.

I made a couple other cards that I haven't taken pictures of yet. I will post them as soon as I find my camera!

Happy crafting!

Some Old Cards

These are some of the cards I have made in the past. Some, most of them have a Stampin' Up image on them, others have Heidi Grace images, while ONE has an image I got from Archiver's!

I really like making cards. They are quick, easy, and I love the instant gratification.

My New Apron #

I am sew proud of myself!! I've wanted to make an apron for quite a while now, one that actually fits me. You know what I'm talking about... one that hits the BACK of my hips instead of the front. I have a tendency to wipe my hands on the SIDE of my hips so an apron that hits the back of my hips is essential.

Anyway, I picked out a pattern and some adorable fabric and got to work. Sharon was there to help/guide as needed but after two days - I have a family you know - it is finished and I don't want to take it off!! The neck strap was a little long so Sharon showed me a neat way to shorten it without cutting anything off: make a bow with the fabric you don't need! I did and I LOVE the way it looks; it's an added touch of cuteness (is that even a word?)!

As for the pictures in the bathroom, I couldn't take pictures of it on the bed because it just didn't look the same all spread out like that. When I had it hanging, you couldn't see the details. SO - sorry about the towels in the background! In the top picture you can see the front and how long it is (down to my knees), the second picture shows the hip action I was talking about. I LOVE IT!!

I have some different fabric that I will be using for another apron - I am going to try to make that one ALL by myself and I can't wait!!

Thank you, Sharon!!
